When musicians ask us to explain the reason for certain details in our work, we occasionally get carried away and start narrating the backgrounds. Violin making is an art form brimming with old stories and traditions. However, if it is studied from a modern, scientific viewpoint, it is a craft that offers a series of exciting insights.
On the following pages, we have written down some stories that are alive in our workshop. If you’re curious and want to know more about our work methods, our enthusiasm for our craft, and our research, we would love to tell you more. Feel free to browse around on these pages, or ask us for more stories when you pay a visit to the workshop!
